About computers: I have purchased a couple of cheap old intel-based macbooks from Ebay and converted them to Linux -- they run great (one is a 2012 Macbook Air, that I am typing on right now, and the other is a 2017 touchbar Macbook Pro). I ma using MX on the Air and Mint on the Pro... but I am still struggling to get the touchbar to work (not that it is really needed).
