Hungary's Turanist Jobbik Party Achieves Major Electoral Success

The Turanist Jobbik Party won 21% of the vote in Hungary's parliamentary elections, making it the third-largest political party in the country.

Jobbik leader Gábor Vona is well known for his emphasis on Turanism and his admiration for Turkish heritage.

Declaring, "We are the descendants of Attila," Vona has frequently displayed the Grey Wolf hand gesture, a symbol associated with Turkish nationalism, during rallies and public events.

"While we in Turkey fail to stand up for our Turkish identity, our Hungarian brothers have done so. They deserve to be congratulated."
